Jerusalemites who were disappointed by the lack of snow over the weekend can feel happy about the rain that has fallen instead. The weekend storm brought enough runoff to fill the area behind the Beit Zayit dam of the Nachal Sorek stream at the entrance to the capital.
Reacting to the water level in the reservoir, Inspector Ephraim Shabtai of the capital's Gichon water company told Arutz Sheva, ""We areexpecting morerain.Keepprayingfor morerains.We arestillin needofwaterandto supplementwhat's missing,we needanother monthand a halfofrainfall like what we have had the last few daysandwe will bepleased."
