Responding to recent vandalism on the roadside memorial at the site where Rabbi Meir Chair of Shavei Shomron was murdered by terrorists, about two years ago, the Shomron (Samaria)Residents' Committeeissued a statement, Sunday, that,"As Israel issilent whenthe memory ofits sons is desecrated, it's not surprisingthat Arab terrorraises itsheadandtries to harm theliving and dead.We are surethat anyone who hassomeintegrityandpublic responsibility will condemnthedesecration ofthe monument".
Motorists on the highway between Shavei-Shomron and Netanya noticed that the memorial had been splattered with red paint and its Israeli flag had been taken off and torn.
