The Ministerial Committee on Legislation endorsed, Sunday, a government-sponsored bill to pay the legal expenses of Dr. Yehuda David, who won a court case in his native France last week over allegations that the father of Mohamad Ad-Dura suffered from IDF gunfire.

Science Minister Daniel Hershkowitz said, during discussion of the measure, "Dr. David did a great service to the state, and the funding of his trial is the least the government should do for him in recognition and appreciation.
