Shekel, Dollar, Yen Down; Euro Up

The official value of the shekel slipped an average of .091 percent, Friday, against the other currencies featured on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.753, down .477 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro rose .549 percent to 4.9247 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.9277, up .301 percent, while 100 Japanese yen fell .838 to 4.7473 shekels. The Norwegian krone rose 1.219 percent to .6562 shekels while the South African rand was set at NIS .4828, up .73 percent.
