Two civilian employees of the Defense Ministry were attacked by Arab youths on Monday when their car was stuck in traffic near the Augusta Victoria Hospital on Mt. Scopus. The youths threw rocks at the car from afar, then smashed the windshield at close range. Despite having his face bloodied, Yehudah Attias was able to speed away from the spot when traffic permitted and made it to the "Arches" Hotel, where security and medical services took care of him.
Interviewed, Thursday, by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, Attias's brother-in-law said Attias has been hospitalized several times since then for the effects of his head injuries, which required a lot of stitches, and include headaches, vomiting and chills. The brother-in-law said only a miracle kept things from being worse.
