At least 14 people were killed Thursday, from fire by Syrian army forces in the village of Nubuza, next to the northern Syria city of Hama, according to Syrian human rights groups. The bodies of eight of them were shown in a You Tube video with broken legs on a hospital floor.

On Wednesday it was reported that the army had launched an offensive against anti-government forces and other civilians in Hama and the surounding area.
