Roads Authority Getting Ready for Storm's Worst

The National Roads Authority announced, Thursday, that it will go to "Stormy Weather Procedures" during the evening hours, expanding the deployment of crews, especially at known trouble spots.

Heavy equipment was already out in the field Thursday morning. Additional graders, tractors and water pumpers, among other equipment, will be deployed, Thursday evening. Thirteen crews will be out in the north, with five operating in the south. The Authority advises motorists to be especially careful on Route 90 in the Dead Sea area, with a special focus on the Arugot, Chever and David riverbeds/wadis.
