Computer experts from Europe and the United States said on Tuesday that they believe engineers in Iran’s nuclear program were able to completely neutralize their computer systems from the Stuxnet virus which seriously damaged Iranian nuclear equipment about two years ago.
According to the experts, the virus was implanted in the computer systems already in 2009 and disrupted the operation of uranium-enriching centrifuges.
