Nurses Walk Out on Soroka Emergency Room

Nurses walked out on emergency room at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva', Tuesday morning, after the workload became excessive. The nurses said dozens of patients were waiting for treatment and every department was at least five nurses short. The nurses demanded that a new ward be opened.

On Monday, nurses in the wards walked off the job and went on emergency schedule after overcrowding reached 140 percent.
