“SIDS In Hebrew ‘Crib Death’ is Doublespeak”

Chairman of the Knesset Childrens’ Rights Committee MK Zevulun Orlev (The Jewish Home) defined the Hebrew term for SIDS, ‘Crib Death’ as misleading doublespeak. “Into the category of ‘Crib Death’ fall infant death circumstances that could have been avoided, like child abuse or negligence.”
