Disruptions are expected, Monday morning, on Israel Railways' line between Rishon Letzion and Hod Hasharon, despite a temporary order issued, Sunday evening by the Labor Court to put the railroad's four new engines into service. The order was issued in response to the worker's announcement, following the end of the general strike, that it would not operate the engines because the training of the engineers was not complete, a claim rejected by management. An additional reason cited by the workers is the entry of a new manager at the Yavneh station. The workers say these disruptions are light, compared to what will happen in 48 hours because of the outsourcing of maintenance on the railroad's rolling stock.
Management says the workers should be negotiating instead of imposing sanctions. The workers say management isn't doing its job.
