20 students from the Yigal Alon High School in Yehud recently went renovated and rehabilitated the old synagogue in Peki'in in northern Israel.

The project came about after the students visited the synagogue several months ago and were shocked to discover that the last time the old synagogue was renovated was in 1873. The students decided to renovate the historically important synagogue as part of a leadership and philanthropy program run by the Maagalim organization. Maagalim helped provide the students with the equipment and materials needed for the work.
