The CyberSec International Conference onInformation Security was held,Sundayin theBen Gurionairport complex,inthe wake ofrecentcyberattacks on Israel by aSaudi Arabian computer hacker. The conference brought companies, organizations andgovernment officialstogetherwithcybersecurity experts todiscuss thethreats andnewdevelopmentsto protectindividualsand organizationspredictedattacks.
Participants were told there is at least one cyber attack each day. The conferencediscussednew techniquesincorporatedefense,the question of howconsultingfirmsare preparedto help organizations through advancedprotectiveservices,technologiesthat helpthe newbattlefield,andthe Sisypheanstruggle against the humans that usesocial networks,tabletsand smartphones.
