Israel's airports and seaports are operating on their normal schedule, despite the general strike, which entered its third day on Friday. On Thursday, the ports did not start operating before noon. Municipal services are not being provided and government offices are not open.
The strike is expected to continue until at least 10:00 Sunday morning. The Treasury and Histadrut Labor Federation are scheduled to continue negotiations at noon, Friday, regarding the absorption of contract labor into the government payroll. At 3:00 p.m., the sides are expected to report to President Nili Arad of the National Labor Court.
