Accused PM Aide Falls Ill During Investigation
Natan Eshel, an employee of the Prime Minister's Office fell ill during questioning by the Civil Service Commission. Eshel has been accused by three other co-workers of harassing a fourth co-worker. Reports says that the anonymous female employee complained that Eshel was following her and reading her private emails. She has so far refused to submit to investigation.
Eshel as questioned for 9 hours on Tuesday, according to Ynet news, and questioned again on Wednesday, The questioning was suspended after Eshel said he was ill could not physically continue.
Eshel has maintained his innocence and called the matter "gossip." Eshel is a lieutenant colonel in the IDF reserves and was a senior member of the National Religious Party and was a vice president of Yisrael HaYom newspaper before joining Netanyahu's staff.
