Republican Senator John McCain on Tuesday called on the White House to send ammunition to the opposition forces fighting against the Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime.
McCain’s call came after the U.S. announced that it was skeptical about the Syrian government’s statements regarding taking new measures to stop violence in the country.
