Tzipi Kolteniuk of the Yad L’Achim organization said on Monday that the phenomenon of minor girls being tempted by Arabs is not new. She spoke to Arutz Sheva a day after 15-year-old Nofar Ben Hamou was located in an Arab village and brought home.
“25 percent of cases are of minors aged 15,” says Kolteniuk said, adding that in many cases there are girls as young as 11 years of age who are tempted by Arabs and Bedouins and abandon their homes.
“The phenomenon exists throughout the country,” she said. “It is easy to trap a child at that age. Give her a new phone, new jeans, some attention and she falls straight into the trap. It doesn’t take much to bring them into this situation.”
