The Knesset Labor, Welfare and Health Committee approved, Monday, an addition to senior discount regulations, making those of retirement age (67 for men, 62 for women) eligible for a 50-percent discount at Israeli films, to go along with discounts already available at museums and artistic and cultural events. The two-million-shekel cost of the bill will be split between the state and the Israel Cinema Association.
Responding to a request by a representative of cerebral palsy patients, an association attorney said subtitles would be added to Israeli films.
