Senior Egyptian officials said, Sunday evening, that deposed president Hosni Mubarak would be transferred to the hospital wing of the Tora Prison in Cairo.

The 83-year-old former leader has been held, until now, in a military hospital outside the capital, during a trial on charges stemming from violence prior to his abdication, about a year ago.
