Kara: World Apathy on Syria a Badge of Shame

Member of Knesset Ayoub Kara (Likud) said, Sunday, "Russia and China are directly responsible for the daily massacre committed by the Syrian regime against its people, as long as they continue to veto [United Nations] Security Council resolutions against [President Bashar Al-] Assad."

Speaking at the dedication of an educational center in the children's village in the Galilee village of Hurfeish, the deputy minister for development of the Negev and the Galilee added, "The indifference shown by the world, in view of the daily bloodshed and the massacre on Friday in Homs is a badge of shame for human emotion, and we must make a humanitarian decision to stand by the Syrian people. The days of Assad few and the only question remaining is how many people would be killed before the world wakes up and they remove the butcher from his throne."
