    Obama: UN Must Take Stand on Assad

    On Saturday, US President Barack Obama told the UN Security Council to take a stand against the "relentless brutality" of Syrian President Bashar Assad's violent crackdown on the country's opposition protestors. The US President said that the recent attack that left 200 people dead by shelling from government troops in Homs, was an "unspeakable assault" and asked Assad to give up his power.
