The members of the United Nations Security Council could not agree, Thursday evening, on compromise language for a resolution regarding the ongoing violence in Syria. Some of the ambassadors said they sent a new wording to their countries for approval. France's ambassador expressed hope that the countries would approve that wording, expediting a vote.
