IDF Rejects Reports Soldier Was Helped by Arabs

The IDF rejected on Thursday the reports in the media, according to which Palestinian Authority Arabs helped a soldier who was left behind after an operation near Ramallah.

An investigation made by the IDF’s Judea and Samaria Division found that the soldiers were attacked by Arabs who were throwing rocks at them, and had to chase the culprits. The soldiers later left the area for an unknown reason, leaving the soldier behind.

The investigation found that the soldier feared his fate after he was found by the local Arabs and refused to accept their help. Within a few minutes a military vehicle arrived and picked him up.
