Netanyahu Wants a Direct Talks with PA

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and stated that he is interested in direct talks with the Palestinian Authority, while safeguarding Israel's interests. 

Earlier today the Prime Minister met with Middle East Quartet envoy Tony Blair, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. The Quartet on the Middle East is a body involved in mediating negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The members are the United Nations, the United States, the European Union, and Russia.
