The State Department of the United States is seeking to provide a safe haven for three American activists working in Egypt. According to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, US Congress has stated they will cut financial and military aid to the country of the workers are threatened. Sam LaHood, the son of Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, and two others are seeking refuse after the Egyptian government banned them from leaving the country.
