Police arrested 27 alleged criminals in the pre-dawn hours of Tuesday morning on suspicion of trafficking drugs and weapons. They are scheduled to face a remand hearing in the Akko Magistrates Court.

The wide-ranging operation by Coastal District police was made possible through an undercover agent from the area.
