Chairman Avigdor Lieberman of the Yisrael Beiteinu said, Monday, that his faction will vote against the extension of Tal Law, which provides military exemptions for yeshiva students. Referring to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's decision not to involve the cabinet in the extension, as originally announced, Lieberman said, "Our position is very clear and I'm glad the government has not decided." He added "We are not against the Orthodox. We are for everyone and for Judaism and against deals and politics."
When asked about early elections, the foreign minister said, "I hope the government would live out its days."
