At least 384 children have been killed and 380 children were detained in Syria since the riots in the country began ten months ago, according to figures presented Friday by UNICEF, The United Nations Children's Fund.

The UN believes that at least 5,000 people have been killed in President Bashar Assad's crackdown on protesters.
