Irish Foreign Minister Begins Four-Day Visit

Foreign Affairs Eamon Gilmore of Ireland began a four day-visit to Israel Friday. The first stop was Gaza for meetings with local business people, as well as the head of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and local human rights organizations.

During the course of the visit, he is also scheduled to meet Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Foreign Minister Riad Malki as well as Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman and Deputy Prime Minister Dan Meridor.
