Yen, Dollar Up; Euro Down

The official value of the shekel declined an average of .071 percent, Friday, against most of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.768, up .106 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro declined .121 percent to 4.9406 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at 5.9165 shekels, up .23 percent, while 100 Japanese yen rose .726 percent to NIS 4.8868.
