Former director Meir Dagan of the Mossad intelligence agency visited, Friday morning, the tent set up at Tel Aviv's Arlozoroff railroad station to protest the government's proposed five-year extension of the Tal Law, which grants draft-age yeshiva students a deferment from military service in an attempt to encourage them to enter the job market.

Dagan signed a petition calling for cancellation of the law and enactment of a law calling for service by everyone. He told activists in the tent that he "identifies with and supports the important struggle."
