13 Killed in Iraqi Bombings

At least 13 people were killed and five were wounded, Thursday, in bombings in the Baghdad area and the city of Kirkuk. According to Agence France Presse, more than 200 people have been killed in attacks since United States forces left Iraq a month ago.

Two brothers serving in the police and eight of their relatives were killed in an early-morning attack on their home in Mussayib, 60 kilometres/37 miles south of Baghdad. The deaths in Kirkuk were caused by a motorcycle bomb parked near a primary school in the center of the city.
