The Knesset Education Committee is scheduled to discuss requirements for entering masters and doctoral programs when it meets on Monday.

The hearing follows a report that journalist-turned-politician Yair Lapid was accepted to a doctoral program at Bar Ilan University in Ramat Gan, east of Tel Aviv, without having completed a bachelor's degree.
