The pound sterling was set at NIS 5,9029, up .097 percent, while 100 Japanese yen slipped .006 percent to 4.8515 shekels. The South African rand jumped 1.994 percent to NIS .4809, while the Australian dollar was fixed at 4.0137 shekels, up 1.267 percent and the Norwegian krone rose 1.096 percent to NIS 6458. The Swiss frank was set at 4.0978 shekels, up .921 percent, and the Danish krone rose .879 percent to NIS .6654.
