Jackie Edri, a member of the Beit Shemesh Municipality Council, called on Wednesday to rid Beit Shemesh of extremists in the wake of an attack by radical hareidim on Natalie Mashiach while she was hanging posters in the city.
“The police must remove the extremists from the city for sixty days in the first stage and then permanently,” Edri told Arutz Sheva. “They are like crime families.”
He added, “What happened yesterday reminded me of a lynch in a Palestinian village. I know the Mashiach family, it was not a provocation. Natalie made a mistake when she came to the hareidi street, like the mistakes people make when entering a Palestinian village.”
