Rabbi Elyashiv's Condition Worsens

Results of medical tests taken on Thursday are worrying physicians for Rabbi Yoseph Shalom Elyashiv, the ranking authority of the Lithuanian Jewish community in Israel. While they forbid him from leaving home, even for prayer, rabbinical spokesman Shlomo Kook told Arutz Sheva, Monday morning, that the doctors have decided the rabbi does not need to be hospitalized and are treating him in his home. Kook said rumors of system failure were incorrect and asked people to continue to pray for Harav Yoseph Shalom ben Chaya Mousha.
