Most of the featured indices on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange posted modest to moderate losses in mixed trading on Sunday. The TA composite index declined .16 percent to 1,022.38, while the same percentage loss meant a 1,030.53 closing for the TA 100, including a .05 percent slip to 1,136.03 by the Maof 25 most-widely-invested issues.
The biomed stocks rose .47 percent to 793.95, while the rest of the technology index declined .39 percent to 286.45. The oil and natural gas index advanced .46 percent to 1,292.47, while the real estate index finished the first trading day of the week at 281.55, down .52 percent. While the bank stocks rose .37 percent to 1,008.06, the insurance issues fell 1.59 percent to 1,125.46 to help bring the financial institutions to 946.72, down .43 percent. The communications index declined .71 percent to 739.87.
