Member of Knesset Dalia Itzik (Kadima) introduced a bill, Sunday, that would make free public transportation available to those serving in the Israel Defense Forces, no matter what hour, destination or length of trip.

The bill followed the initiation of a ban on free rail service to soldiers between 6:00 and 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning, initiated because of overcrowding on Israel Railways.
