National Union: PM Prefers Peace Now's Policies

In a statement, the National Union protested the suggestion by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that residents of Migron move their homes to another site, an idea orchstrated by Minister Benny Begin. “The whitewashing of the Prime Minister will not hide the fact that this is an attempt at expulsion of residents from their homes. The Prime Minister has all the legal tools he needs to resolve these problems altogether, but be prefers to fulfill the policies of Peace Now.”

Earlier, Netanyahu called on Migron residents to accept the plan by Begin, which would have them move buildings at the site to another location several hundred meters away. According to a High Court decision, the buildings were to be removed by March 31. “It's a good plan,” Netanyahu said. “It doesn't solve all the problems, but it can repair the problem of Migron.”
