Rightwing activists on Sunday slammed the arrangement suggested by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu that residents of Migron move their homes to another site, as suggested by Minister Benny Begin. “Netanyahu has apparently not learned anything from the disengagement,” the activists said. “The Prime Minister refuses, in an anti-democratic manner, to allow the Ministerial Law Committee to consider bills that would resolve the legal problems of Migron and other sites. With that, he continues to threaten residents with late-night demolitions of their homes.
“Netanyahu should remember that removing Migron – in essence demolishing it – will remove Netanyahu from his office as well. The public will not accept another Amona,” the activists said.
