Euro Up, Shekel and Dollar Down

The official value of the shekel slipped an average of .043 percent, Friday, in mixed trading against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list. The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.783, down .026 percent from Thursday's rate, while the Euro rose .225 percent to 4.8982 shekels.

The pound sterling was set at NIS 5.8563, up .116 percent, and 100 Japanese yen fell .493 percent to 4.9009 shekels. The Canadian dollar was fixed at 3.7325 shekels, down .565 percent.
