A female officer with the Judea and Samaria Division of the police was reprimanded by a disciplinary tribunal after she had slapped Amjad Awad, one of the two killers of five members of the Fogel family.
Channel 2 News reported on Thursday that the female officer was involved in investigating the massacre and as part of that job, visited the Fogel home and saw horrific scenes there. When Awad was brought in for questioning after being arrested, the officer slapped him while interrogating him.
After that point, Awad refused to cooperate with the investigators and the officers apologized. Her commanders filed a complaint with the police discipline department and she was subsequently reprimanded by the disciplinary tribunal.
