Knesset Advocates for Special Ed. Immigrant Children

The chairman of the Commission for Education, Culture and Sport, Member of Knesset Alex Miller (Yisrael Beiteinu Party) advocated for the children of new immigrants who needed special education. These include children with autism, and mental and developmental disabilities. MK Miller stated, "every student is in need of proper education. When it comes to special education, it is our ethical and moral duty to care for these individuals. The State of Israel is committed to take the most appropriate action for the immigrant community and certainly the immigrant students in public special education".
