About 100 students at yeshiva high schools, higher yeshivas and Hesder yeshivas (which combine religious studies and military service) have signed a petition calling for draft-dodging in the wake of recent instructions not to excuse soldiers with religious objections from official events where women sing, according to a Tuesday report by Ma'ariv. It calls on other youth facing induction not to enlist until the orders change.
