A Homefront Command exercise, simulating a missile strike, started at 4:00 Tuesday morning in the southern Mediterranean port city of Ashkelon.

The drill will continue until 1:00 p.m. During that time, there will be brisk movements of emergency vehicles and troops in the exercise area.
