Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Monday morning, that the government is likely to extend the Tal Law, giving military deferments to draft-age yeshiva students, when the matter comes up on Sunday.

Netanyahu noted that the number of yeshiva students being inducted into the Israel Defense Forces had tripled since 2009.
