Variable cloudiness is forecast for Friday with southwesterly winds up to 55 kilometers/36 miles an hour, making for continued cooler than usual temperatures and a high-wave warning at Mediterranean beaches. Snow will fall on Mt. Hermon, possibly spreading to Golan and Galilee peaks. Occasional rain in the north will spread to the northern Negev, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and local flooding. The rain might reach further south by the afternoon. Otherwise there's a chance of haze there. Rain is expected on Shabbat morning from the north to the northern Negev, weakening and retreating to the north and the Mediterranean coastal area in the afternoon. Light snow is expected on Mt. Hermon through Sunday. Occasional Sunday morning rain is expected, mainly in the north, and it will be slightly warmer. On Monday, it will be partly cloudy with no significant increase in temperature.
