The Knesset Sub-Committee for Israeli Interrelations and the Jewish Nation discussed Tuesday the draft of a new paradigm between the Nation and the State. The new ‘contract’ will reflect the development of Israel into a wealthy advanced state, a home for the largest Jewish community in the world, having witnessed the persecution and near eradication of Jewish communities worldwide, benefitting from a rapidly shrinking, highly-networked globe. “The old paradigm is obsolete; it focused only on immigration encouragement and financial donation to Israel,” said MK Dr. Einat Wilf (Independence), Committee Chairperson.
