Human Rights Group: Prosecutors See Yeshans as Enemy

Manager Orit Struck of the Yesha (Judea and Samaria) Human Rights Organization reacted, Sunday evening to indictments filed against five people charged with infiltrating an IDF base in Judea and Samaria, by saying, "The decisionby the prosecution and [Deputy State Prosecutor] Shai Nitzan'steamto use'Emergency DefenseRegulations'for the first timein 40 years,in order tohurt those who are, at most,the organizers of protests-is exploitation -abuseof irrelevantprovisions of the law totrample on theright to protest of the right-wing".



Struck added, "This is an extreme anti - democratic step which indicatesa seriousdisruption in the state of mind and judgement ofthe prosecution, which apparentlyseesthe settlers as the'enemy'."
