Human Rights Group: Prosecutors See Yeshans as Enemy

Manager Orit Struck of the Yesha (Judea and Samaria) Human Rights Organization reacted, Sunday evening to indictments filed against five people charged with infiltrating an IDF base in Judea and Samaria, by saying, "The decision by the prosecution and [Deputy State Prosecutor] Shai Nitzan's team to use 'Emergency Defense Regulations' for the first time in 40 years, in order to hurt those who are, at most, the organizers of protests - is exploitation - abuse of irrelevant provisions of the law to trample on the right to protest of the right-wing".

Struck added, "This is an extreme anti - democratic step which indicates a serious disruption in the state of mind and judgement of the prosecution, which apparently sees the settlers as the 'enemy'."
