Hundreds of students are expected to converge of Paris/Freedom for Jonathan Pollard Square in Jerusalem,Thursday evening at 7:30, for a rally to promote unity among the people of Israel. A Facebook posting about the rally notes recent friction between Jews of different levels of observance, with a reminder that the siege of Jerusalem marked by the just-concluded Fast of the 10th of Tevet was a milestone on the road to the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem due to needless hatred.
Organizers from Bnei Akiva and Keren Kehilot say they will issue a call against incitement. Metanya Yedid told Arutz Sheva, "Our central goal is to make it clear that we are one big family and we must know how to get along with each other. Every one in the people of Israel must learn to respect the other."
